Broadway and cabaret star Karen Mason returns to Birdland and will share her love of Jule Styne, one of her favorite songwriters. Karen will be joined by Christopher Denny on piano and Tom Hubbard on bass, and the show will be directed by Barry Kleinbort.
From the first time she sang for Mr. Styne in NY, to performing in a concert in his honor at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Karen Mason has made the music of Jule Styne a part of her musical life.
This new concert will include Broadway tunes “Just In Time” and “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend,” to pop standards “Time After Time” and “Three Coins in the Fountain.”

Award-winning Broadway star Karen Mason of Wonderland, Mamma Mia, Sunset Boulevard, and Hairspray will be joined by Grammy-nominated Broadway Conductor Phil Reno on piano.
The Thomas and Kathleen Donnell Broadway Concert Series enables noted Broadway artists to visit the University of Findlay campus each year in the fall and spring semesters. The series provides concert entertainment for both UF students and the community in September and January.
